The surgery itself is painless — the area is fully numb, and with IV sedation most patients remember nothing. Afterwards, most people describe soreness rather than pain, managed with over-the-counter medication for two to three days.

How much does a dental implant cost?

Cost depends on whether you need grafting, how many teeth are involved and the final restoration. We won't quote a number online that turns out to be wrong for you — your consultation ends with a written, itemized estimate with insurance already applied.

How long does it take from start to finish?

A straightforward single implant is usually 3–6 months from placement to final crown, because the bone needs time to fuse to the implant. Full-arch cases often receive a fixed temporary set of teeth on the day of surgery.

Am I too old, or do I have too little bone?

Age is rarely the limiting factor — health is. And low bone volume is a very common finding that grafting or angled implant placement usually solves. Patients told 'no' elsewhere are exactly who we're set up for.

Do you speak Spanish?

What is recovery like?

Plan on taking it easy for 48 hours: soft foods, no smoking, no strenuous exercise, and ice for the first day. Most people return to desk work the next day. You'll get written instructions and a direct number to call.

Can I be sedated?

Yes. We offer local anesthetic, nitrous oxide and IV sedation administered in-office by a surgeon trained in anesthesia. With IV sedation you'll need someone to drive you home.
